Welcome to Love Radical

I believe in love, radical love. Love that sees, hears, and accepts you as you are. Love that tries to understand you, not change you. To me, love is the why and the how. It is the beginning, the middle, the end, and the ever-after. Its vastness only matched by the grief it leaves behind when it's gone.

I am love, and my existence is pretty radical. Radical as in arising from the root or source. I am a product of my roots, exactly as the Universe created me -- a Brazilian-American, queer, pansexual immigrant disabled by Long COVID, Autism, ADHD, MCAS, POTS, and EDS. I am also much more than all of these labels. I am an ever-changing soul having a human experience that is often painful but mostly amusing (Stellium in Aries in the 12th house, if you know what I mean). I hope my words and visual art help you wherever you are on your own human journey.

Not everything I say here is meant for everyone, so hold on to what resonates with you and leave the rest. I write about love, grief, spirituality, trauma, addiction, recovery, ableism, perimenopause, matriarchal rage, climate resiliency, and whatever else gets me through the day. This human experience is a beautiful and challenging ride, and I'm here to learn and evolve as much as I can in this lifetime.

I'm not perfect. I make mistakes and put the proverbial foot in my mouth from time to time. That's normal, so please don't expect perfection here. Actually, don't expect anything. Just keep an open mind and open heart, and enjoy this ride alongside me. I hope you spend some time here and come back often.
